Resurrection Life

Let's have a look at some passages found in Romans 6 TPT:
"Have you forgotten that all of us who were immersed into union with Jesus, the Anointed One, were immersed into union with his death? Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to express an entirely new life."
"Could it be any clearer that our former identity is now and forever deprived of its power? For we were co-crucified with him to dismantle the stronghold of sin within us, so that we could not continue to live one moment longer submitted to sin’s power.

Obviously a dead person is incapable of sinning. And if we were co-crucified to the Anointed One, we know that we will also share in the fullness of his life. And we know that since the Anointed One has been raised from the dead to die no more, his resurrection has vanquished death and it’s power over him is finished. For by his sacrifice he died to sin’s power once and for all, but he now lives continuously for the Father’s pleasure. So let it be the same way with you! Since you are now joined with him, you must continually view yourselves as dead and unresponsive to sin’s appeal while living daily for God’s pleasure in union with Jesus, the Anointed One."

We need to shift from life before the cross - conscious of our sin - and step through the cross into the Resurrection Life that Christ has now given us. Jesus has defeated the power of sin and death, therefore sin should no longer have power over us! We should be growing in strength as Sons of the King, not worried about if we sinned during the day, but shining our light wherever we go, walking with Holy Spirit and allowing him to point out the areas in our lives that need dealing with.
To be truly free from the grip of sin requires us to walk in union with Holy Spirit, giving him full access into our lives. Allowing him to sift through our soul and DNA, bringing whatever it is holding us down to light, so that we can deal with it and walk in Resurrection Life. Trying to rid sin on our own will only last for a moment, allowing Holy Spirit to do it with you brings freedom from that grip of sin for eternity.
Paul says in Romans 8 TPT, "And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!"
I urge you to walk with Holy Spirit. It is time for the Sons of God to start living and operating in Resurrection Life!
Romans 6:14 TPT, "Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has!"
