The Word

I grew up in a Christian home from birth. I am also that 'good natured', 'rule follower' personality, so I have worked hard my whole life to be a good Christian. I grew up doing family devotions in the morning before school and would make sure to pray and read my Bible before bed at night. The older I got and the more aware of the Kingdom Realms I became, reading Scripture in this religious way just wasn't doing it for me anymore. I found that I became bored with the Bible and that I was also stuck in the religious ways of having to read my Bible daily (a pressure I had put on myself). Praise God that Holy Spirit took me on a whole new journey of discovering the Word!

In this journey, I have come to this personal revelation that there is a difference between reading the Bible and engaging the Word. You see, Joshua 1:8 NKJV says, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." I love how this version says IN instead of ON. In means to be completely immersed into. I want to be completely immersed into the Word!

John 1:1-3 NKJV says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." Here we see that the Word is more than just stories and words, but a Being; God.

With my heart open to learn and Holy Spirit's guidance, I have begun to not only read the Word but engage and step into the Word. For the Word is living and ready to release beautiful revelation, knowledge and understanding to you.

I go on to explain more of my encounters in our latest podcast, you can listen on
PodOmatic or iTunes.

May your eyes be opened to beautiful Kingdom Realities as you begin to see the Word in a whole new way!

Blessings in YHVH
